The USS Abraham Lincoln treated guests to a spectacle over the sea recently — an air power demonstration by aircraft embarked aboard the ship.
During the Pacific Ocean show, there were precise formations and dud-bomb detonations.
Multiple squadrons participated in the event, showcasing a host of capabilities.
The Abraham Lincoln and its carrier strike group were at the tail end of a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 3rd Fleet and U.S. 7th Fleet areas of responsibility. The aircraft carrier returned to its home port of San Diego on Aug. 11.
