New York Governor Kathy Hochul has succeeded in her reelection bid defeating Republican challenger Congressman Lee Zeldin.
This race was very difficult, but it was winnable in the current political climate. Lee Zeldin ran a superb race, hammering Hochul on crime and quality of life. But, in the end, the sheer volume of Democrat voters who were happy with the status quo returned Hochul to office.
